Plunge Falls ( The old swimming hole )

The locals here call this "the old swimming hole".  Most every one we run into that grew up here, this was the place for fun and frolic.  The water seemed mighty cold to me but I guess when your young it doesn't matter.  Oh to be young again.

Fall in the Keweenaw has always been Donna's and I favorite part of the year.  This year has been an exceptional year with temperatures well up in the 60 deg..  The sad part about this , we know what is coming next, but until then we are enjoying this great weather.  All is well in the Keweenaw!
