Lake Superior ( 50 mph wind )

It was suppose to be our first big storm, 9 to 12 inches snow, 60 mile an hour wind, Lake Superior was to have 17 to 18 foot waves, all to go along with the severe blowing and drifting.  Not that we don't mind but the weather guy got it wrong.  The only snow we got was a little dusting of snow that barely covered the grass.  It was a long way from 12 inches of snow they predicted.  What we did get was the wind.  Donna and I packed up the camera and headed down to the Lake Superior shore line. The wind was coming off the shore line at about 50 to 55 mph.  We were some what surprised as we could not even walk down to the shore line. The wind was blowing the sand so hard it would just about blind you. If we only brought our sun glasses.   We may not have gotten  the 17 foot waves.they predicted but the 10 to 14 foot waves were still very impressive.  (picture date wrong)
