The last train at the Calumet Depot ( 1970) Then and Now

   
       One of the last passenger trains to stop at the Calumet train Depot. At one time it was one of the busiest train stations in Upper Michigan. Taking its passengers to and from the big city of Chicago.   Now setting vacant, the old depot has been sold and is scheduled to be renovated, as to what, will have to wait and see.  To be continued........

        The trains have all left, the tracks have all been removed and most of the people are gone. The old Calumet Depot still stands today waiting for that day when another train will pull in to the station. The Depot is in need of urgent facelift.  To who ever bought it I wish him lots of luck in its endeavor to save the old depot.
