Stanley Cup comes to Calumet ( Kraft Hockeyville 2019 )

       Its not every day you get a chance to see the Stanley Cup.( Not that Donna and I are much of a hockey fans )  The cup was to be at the Calumet park at 4  o'clock,we got there and stood in line at about 3:10. We waited about 45 minutes, they took are camera popped a picture, it was over.  We went by the park that evening at around 7 the line was over a 1/4 mile long.  

     Here Donna and I stood in front of the McNaughton cup. There was no line for this one. This is the first time in 20 years that all three cups were together. ( Stanley, McNaughton and the Gibson cup.)

     The Gibson Cup displayed along with the McNaughton Cup. 

     The Planter Peanut truck. It was such a beautiful day. Just another Kodak moment, plus we got free peanuts to boot!

Yea had to take a picture with the Oscar Mayer truck. No free hot dogs here.

                                The Finlandia Lion was there (Finlandi University)  Did not know he was a Red Wings Fan. Every one had a great time.

Donna enjoying the event. We got there early, no crowds yet. Just watching them set up.

         The Stanley Cup was delivered by the Calumet Fire Department.  Lights & Sirens let everyone know the cup is here.  (What no white gloves?)
