Donna Visits the Loom Room ( Gay School )

When the copper stamp plant closed in the village of Gay in 1932, (Wolverine Stamp Plant) family's had to find away to put food on the table.. A group of moms got together and started a business making various types of rugs and table covers.   The business was called the Gay enterprise.  The looms our all displayed at the Gay School.  Here Lynn, a Gay Village resident, is showing Donna how the Loom works.
                                            Several Looms are displayed.

As we left the loom room, we were glad to have met Lynn.  She is dedicated to these Looms and keeping the looms running.  Thank you Lynn for keeping the story of Gay alive.
