Celebrating the 4th at Copper Harbor

We start our morning with a cup of coffee and some scones from the local pastry shop.  The mornings at Copper Harbor are generally cool and peaceful.

As as the day progressed it began to get hotter.  The temperature reach a whopping 91 degrees in Copper Harbor. This is our 6th time we have celebrated the 4th at the Harbor and was definitely the hottest. We decided to take a trip the Mount Brockway were it is generally cooler.

The parade begins around 10 o'clock in the morning and usually last about 20 minuets.

Julie & Steve ridding in their corvette in the parade.  Waving and passing out candy!

Children and even parents are ready to gather the vast amount of goodies  tossed to them from the parade participants
