The 2017 Calumet Copper Dog 150

Let the race begin!

Here Donna poses for a picture along the starting gate for the Copper Dog 150.  It was a cold evening with temperatures a round 15 deg.  Snow is hauled and placed in the middle of 5th street which is tied into the snowmobile trail that heads to Copper Harbor.

I could not get a good picture but you get the general idea and the feel of whats going on.  Once the first team starts out, every 2 1/2 min. another team is at the starting gate.

We met some very nice people at the races.
