Eagle River Park (Desiganated Deer Feeding Station)

As the middle of winter begins to set in, Donna and I took a ride to the deer feeding station in Eagle River.( Eagle River Park) Here the deer are fed by the locals to try to ward off mass starvation.  The area is know as the Cedar Swamps which is an area that has the least amount of snow.There is also a designated feeding station in Gay MI.   People stop by and feed them carrots and other deer feed. Some will come right up to the car window looking for free hand outs.
