Our First Winter Guest

We are always grateful to have visitors through out the spring and summer, but to have a  guest in the winter was some what of a surprise.  Duane Kransz (Donna's brother) stopped by on the way home from a snowmobile trip from Twin Lakes.  As we approached 140 inches of snow Duane was eager to grab a snow shovel to help out.  Thanks Duane for stopping bye, hope to see you again in the summer.

There is not much to see in Keweenaw in the winter, but Lake Superior is always an attraction through out the year.

Here is Duane getting ready to clean of his truck from snow that has fallen through the night. We are always guaranteed 1 to 3 inches every night.

We visited a nice restaurant in  Lac LaBel called the Bear Belly Inn.  The restaurant has many stuffed animal displayed on the walls all around the restaurant.
