While visiting Jim's restaurant on 5th street in Calumet, we notice this old advertisement that appeared on an old building next to the restaurant, The old building was in the process of being torn down and the workers were taking off some old siding and this advertisement appeared.(.
A ghost sign is an old hand-painted advertising sign that has been preserved on a building for an extended period of time) The criteria for this sign in around 1936. This is probably one of the best preserved ghost signs I have seen. UPDATE...... Jim's restaurant next door has saved the siding and is planning to put it up on his building.
