THE POWER of PRAYER (A new year resolution)

Donna and I generally  try to keep Santa out of Christmas in our home, being that the reason for the season is the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Not wanting to have Santa take any thing away from what rightly belongs to God, on a day when God was alone on his throne, freely given to us that Christmas morning, his greatest gift, his Son;  but after seeing this I made an exception.

Here is a little boy who asked Santa if he would pray with him for a little baby that was on life-support.  He never knew or seen this baby, not wanting anything for himself, he knelt down with Santa to pray for this little baby.  Using his own words and seeing a child's faith in full display was very humbling .

As we say good-bye to 2015, may we be reminded the power of prayer. Make this your NEW YEAR'S resolution for 2016.  Pray for your family, your neighbors, your country. I know Donna and I will be praying for you.

Happy New Year,

Marty and Donna

John 14:13-14   Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it
